Pink Campaign support continues

Although COVID-19 limits physical gatherings, we continue to find ways to come together to support important causes. In the midst of a global pandemic, our people followed safe social distancing protocol while uniting to raise $40,094 to support breast cancer research.

Each October, we hold our Pink Campaign to benefit the Canadian Cancer Society, but this year staying safe from the coronavirus required a few changes, like the cancellation of our popular lunchtime fundraisers, and the distribution of pink hard hats and gloves. Instead, three people at our headquarters in Nisku, AB, and 12 on our Keystone XL pipeline spread near Oyen, AB, showed their true colors – pink!  – by dying their hair to promote the campaign, and our crews from British Columbia to Ontario generously responded.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fight against breast cancer.

Michels Canada has been holding our Pink Campaign annually since 2014, one year after we held our first fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society – and we’re very proud to have contributed $415,094 to this important cause so far!
