Geopolymer mortar Spray-in-Place Pipe

Scope

Michels Canada used a spray application of geopolymer mortar to rehabilitate six utility holes and chambers for a pilot project. Work included cleaning, debris disposal, spray lining and video inspection. The manholes and chambers were 1,200mm in circular diameter and square shapes, and ranged in depth from 1.55m to 2.45m. The total vertical footage lined was 11.12m. The work site was spread over several kilometres. The entire project was completed in seven days, three days ahead of schedule.
